What is DAIGINJYO class of sake?

Daiginjo (大吟醸) is super premium sake (hence the “dai,” or “big”) and is regarded as the pinnacle of the toji’s art and experiences. It requires precise brewing methods and uses premium rice that has been polished down to at least 50%. They are relatively pricey and are best served chilled. It should taste light, complex and umami flavor.

DAIGINJYO TASTING CONTEST : Rules and Instructions

STEP 1: Daiginjyo Tasting Set includes 5 bottles of 100ml sake, Tasting CONTEST entry card and JETRO questionnaire.

STEP 2: Upon blind tasting, identify the 5 sake and name them on the entry card along with your personal information and complete the JETRO questionnaire. 

STEP 3: Take a picture from your smartphone of the CONTEST card with your answers and completed JETRO questionnaire. Send both images to our WhatsApp at 018-916-7673 before January 29nd, 2021.

STEP 4: If you identify all 5 sake correctly, you are eligible for the drawing on January 30th, 2021. If nobody identified all 5 sake correctly, all entries will be eligible for the drawing.

STEP 5: 3 LUCKY WINNERS WILL BE DRAWN. Winners will be informed by January 31st, 2021. The correct answers will be posted on our Instagram with a video of the actual drawing.
