Biography of Enrico Isamu Oyama
Starting from the motif "Quick Turn Structure", which is a reinterpretation of the visuals of aerosol writing, he develops cross-media expressions and is drawing attention in the field of contemporary art. He was born in Tokyo in 1983 to an Italian father and a Japanese mother and grew up there. He traveled to the United States in 2011 at the invitation of the Asian Cultural Council. Based in Newyork since 2012. He has held solo exhibitions at the Yamato Japan-UK Foundation (London), Marianna Kistler Beach Museum (Kanzas), Pola Museum of Art (Hakone), Nakamura Keith Haring Museum (Yamanashi), and Tower 49 Gallery (New York).
