A TASTE OF HEAVEN
HEAVENSAKE Prestige I is the pinnacle of the HEAVENSAKE collection — a collaboration between Régis Camus, the world-renowned French cellar master behind multiple “Champagne House of the Year” titles, and Noguchi Naohiko, Japan’s legendary sake brewmaster often referred to as the god of sake brewing.
The concept behind Prestige I is to unite French blending artistry with Japanese brewing mastery, creating a sake that transcends traditional categories. Rather than being brewed from a single vintage, it is an assemblage — a blend of sakes from multiple years (notably 2018 – 2020), similar to Champagne methods, where Camus applies his blending expertise to craft harmony, depth, and balance.
The result is a sake that expresses luxury, precision, and timelessness — combining Noguchi’s delicate koji and fermentation techniques with Camus’s vision of structure and layering. Its flavor profile reflects this philosophy: refined fruit intensity, smooth umami, and a long mineral finish that feels both Japanese in spirit and French in elegance.
It’s meant to be savored like a fine wine — a sake that bridges cultures, celebrates craftsmanship, and redefines what premium sake can be
On the nose, it opens with a soothing complexion of minerality, underscored by rich-complex aromas of yellow peach, mango and iris blossoms. The palate follows with a silken, luxurious texture, evolving into vibrant layers of exotic fruits — think passion fruit, pineapple and kiwi — mingled with delicate notes of almond financier and acacia honey. The finish is elegant and lingering, delivering a fusion of French-style richness and Japanese clarity, making it a masterpiece of flavour and craftsmanship.
HEAVENSAKE Prestige I is best served slightly chilled, around 8 °C – 10 °C, to highlight its layered fruit aromas and refined minerality.
Pour it into a white wine or tulip glass to let the bouquet open gradually. As it warms slightly in the glass, the sake reveals deeper notes of tropical fruit and honeyed umami. It’s best enjoyed on its own or paired with delicate dishes like lobster, scallops, or lightly seared wagyu, where its balance of richness and clarity truly shines.
